Course sugar is similar in size to the salt on a pretzel. You could sprinkle it in coffee, but that would be a waste of its talents. It adds a little bit of crystal just by itself. If you want your cake to look like a crystalline field of snow, this is for you. Add a touch of disco dust & it will sparkle like real snow.


We also use course sugar to build the crystal structure on a geode cake.
